Kaolin (Giant Panda)
Kaolin, the sweet and sleepy giant panda, another sweet friend to add to our bloom lineup for 2021!
A tiny 3D printed Ball jointed Doll kit from July 2021. These kits are put together by just 2 people and waiting times can sometimes get extensive. We are currently experiencing a large volume of orders so please be patient. If patience isn’t your thing (we understand!) our kits may not be for you.
Kaolin is a Giant Panda and named after White China Clay. She’s a sweet and playful little thing with bamboo shoot elements in her ears and tail. An optional Sleeping faceplate is available as well. The black resin is trickier to work with so there is a small price difference to reflect that.
As these are a kit for you to finish at home, there will be flaws and marks that can be easily sanded away. This is a normal part of the production process and nothing to worry about. You must spray your doll ENTIRELY with uv cut sealant to protect them from the sun. Since they are made of a photopolymer resin, this step is vital to keep your bloom safe and strong for years to come. INVEST IN A DECENT MASK and always wear when working with resin or sealant.
This is a fun little project that can take anywhere from 1-3 hours depending on your skill level. They will be sent unstrung so that you can work on the parts easily and all magnets and elastic will be provided as a part of the kit.
Eyes are available separately as well as wig kits for you to make wigs for your bloom. Tutorial to come soon.
Please refer to the video at the bottom of the page for a thorough tutorial for you follow!
These kits are designed for people of all skill level so don’t be intimidated if you’re new! We all start somewhere.

Who doesn’t love a panda? It was Alex’s nickname when he was younger and very much a lifestyle that he would live if he could. Sleeping and eating all day!
We’d like to give an honorable mention to our sweet friend Briar’s contest entry. They submitted a Marimo Seedling Panda! You can follow their work on instagram
The video below will be updated to Mochi’s specific video once it has finished being created. Please wait patiently!
