LATE BLOOMER: Drippy the Derpalotl

US$68.00
Sold Out, Sorry!

PLEASE LET US KNOW IN THE COMMENTS WHICH COLOUR TAIL/EARS YOU WOULD LIKE

CHOICES: lilac, blue, orange, white, baby pink, coral

Drippy Derpalotl, another sweet friend to add to our bloom lineup for 2021!

A tiny 3D printed Ball jointed Doll kit from July 2021. These kits are put together by just 2 people and waiting times can sometimes get extensive. We are currently experiencing a large volume of orders so please be patient. If patience isn’t your thing (we understand!) our kits may not be for you.

Drippy comes with a chubby magnetic tail and translucent axolotl ‘ears’ in a beautiful dusty rose tone. To make the ears clear, you’ll need to gloss them or they will have a semi frosted effect as pictured. See the blog post for examples of glossed and unglossed finishes.

As these are a kit for you to finish at home, there will be flaws and marks that can be easily sanded away. This is a normal part of the production process and nothing to worry about. You must spray your doll ENTIRELY with uv cut sealant to protect them from the sun. Since they are made of a photopolymer resin, this step is vital to keep your bloom safe and strong for years to come. INVEST IN A DECENT MASK and always wear when working with resin or sealant.

This is a fun little project that can take anywhere from 1-3 hours depending on your skill level. They will be sent unstrung so that you can work on the parts easily and all magnets and elastic will be provided as a part of the kit.

Eyes are available separately as well as wig kits for you to make wigs for your bloom. Tutorial to come soon.

Please refer to the video at the bottom of the page for a thorough tutorial for you follow!

These kits are designed for people of all skill level so don’t be intimidated if you’re new! We all start somewhere.

D R I P P Y

Drippy the Axolotl. The derpiest friend we’ve had so far! I’ve been really into the idea of adopting a little axolotl for quite some time. However Alex is really weird about bugs and scared about having to feed them worms! Instead, we decided to make drippy who is a worm-free friend for those that are not thrilled about handling wriggly worms!

During the creation of Drippy, I actually had a dream that Chelsea, Alex and I rescued this land-dwelling Axolotl and were smuggling it around in our pockets and digging around for worms to feed it!

The video below will be updated to Drippy’s specific video once it has finished being created. Please wait patiently!

Hello friends!
I know that recently we've been very quiet here on Instagram. The truth is that we've been working our socks off!

It's been a long time coming but the moons arrived home today. I'd had worried that they'd arrive and not be able to stand up at all. Or pose like a wet floppy fish but thankfully all is well. This resin is GLOWING. It's absolutely gorgeous! It's not
