Design a Bloom Contest!

P22.png

Finally we moved onto the final round. The bloom round! This was a really busy category with more entries than any of the others. It was a hard decision for people to pick their favourites but in the end the finalists were as follows;

MonsteraMoth (by zennabug), Garg (by spooks), Nenni the Camellia Red Panda (by imriset), Harvey (by genericprotagonist) and the winners were Waterlily Twins, Lily and Paddy (by Wyffindorfer!)

What an exciting event it was!

Over on the beemunchers discord, a fun event has been going on for the past 2 months. Contestants were able to enter a pet, seedling and bloom design with a super exciting grand prize for the winner. To have their design made a reality! The winners get to join our design team while we work on bringing their little ones to life, they’ll be sent their design for free and credited as the designer. We wanted the contest to be anonymous so entries were silently sent into moderator Deru who did a terrific job of setting up a voting form for bee munchers to pick their favourites from all 3 categories. Over the space of a couple of weeks, the winners were determined!

The bee munchers seemed to have a case of the hive mind with lots of tied winners though!

In the pet category, the top five designs were Goblin (by MrGoblin) Duckweedling (By Lokinta), Maple Corgi (By DrFoxphorus), Crocculent (by captnklaus) and of course, peas (by wyffindorfer!)

The next category was the seedling category which had 30 entries!

The finalists were Lady (cosmic witchling), lilly, tanuki (eggiotoast) , chloe (drfoxphorus) and the final winner sweet pea (by highyena)!

There were so many incredibly entries with beautiful unique ideas and a creativity I don’t think we were expecting. There were so many good designs that we’ve decided to make a few more than just the top winners. More info on those later, as time passes.

For now you can look forward to Crocculent in August, the first winner we’ll get to meet!
